The library offers the following services :
- Membership : Join the library for free !
All students registered at the UP8 are automatically a member of the library. The university staff just have to present themselves with their employment card to renew their membership every year.
- Access to the Helen Keller room
The badge issued by the Cellule Handicap, will give you access to the Helen Keller room. It is equipped with devices and softwares designed to accomodate visual impairments.
You can also access it without a badge, by contacting a library staff member at the reception desk.
Some services offered require an appointment :
- Scanning documents with a character recognition software
- Individualized help to access documents in direct access or in storage
- Initial training session to explain how to us the software in the Helen Keller room
We are happy to help you with any request, however, if you need personal support for more than 30 minutes, we recommend that you take an appointment.

The PLATON disability exemption
The library can grant users with disabilities access to digital version of certain texts.
The document will then be available to the reader in an accessible format. These documents are for personal use only. The user must sign a policy in order to gain access to this service.
